Any parent with a child in the school is eligible to stand for election as a parent governor and parents will be notified when an election is due to take place. Governors are invited to attend courses which aim to help them fulfil their responsibility.

The Governing body meets each half term. Governors also serve on sub-committees set up to assist the running of the school. The Finance, Premises & Personnel Committee meet 6 times a year and has delegated responsibility for all staffing, personnel, health & safety, finance and budgetary matters. The Curriculum Improvement & Pupil Matters Committee meet 5 times a year and has delegated responsibility to oversee, for example, all matters associated with the curriculum, learning, stakeholder feedback and, in particular, knowing the school's provision incredibly well through "first-hand" learning walks.

If you wish to contact the Governors you may do so by leaving a message at the school.
